The ATF letter was for 2.0 not for 2.0 M. Do you have new letter for the 2.0M which take mil spec tube?
They are both the same design and approved under the same.
Thanks,
Team Shockwave
Just to confirm before I load up my cart and pull my proverbial trigger as it were;
The Blade 2M will be able to properly lock in place on a Mil-spec buffer tube – yes/no?
Yes. This fits and locks into place on any mil-spec tube.
Thanks

Will this fit any standard carbine length Mil-Spec buffer tube or will it only work with the slotted buffer tube?
Compatible with Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube
Thanks,
Team Shockwave
When are these expected in other colors?
Hi Caleb,
In a few months.
Thanks,
Team Shockwave
Hi, is the weight 5.0 ounces or 4.1? Under “Additional Information” it says 4.1 oz. Thanks!
Thank you for catching that. It is only 4.0 oz. the 4.1 is for the shipping of the package.
Thanks,
Team Shockwave
Hi! Is this a direct replacement for the standard Blade® Pistol Stabilizer? Will the same buffer tube accommodate both Blade® Pistol Stabilizer and Blade 2M? I have the standard unadjustable Blade Stabilizer on my AR-15 pistol, thx!
Hi John,
No, this Blade 2M fits any Mil-Spec tube.
You can get them almost anywhere but here is a direct link to one: https://www.kakindustry.com/kak-ar15-carbine-buffer-tube

Hello,
Do you have an update on when the 2M will be available in Gray?
They are being assembled now.
Thank you,
Team Shockwave
I’d like to install the 2M on some of my AR pistols. However, I’m reading complaints that many fit very loosely (rattle fit) on mil-spec buffer tubes. Is the polymer used a type that I can heat with a hot air gun and reshape slightly to tighten the slip-fit if I receive one with a loose, rattle fit? Love your product concept and thanks for your time!
Hi Micke,
This has been addressed with the ones we are shipping out now. You can exchange if it is causing issue. If you have an older one you are welcome to do what you want to it.
Thanks,
Team Shockwave
Do you know if this would be compatible with a Typhoon F12?
This will only fit a Milspec buffer tube.
My Blade G2 has an issue with it’s retainer and now slips(collapses) under minor impact or recoil. Are they covered under warranty?
Hi Eric,
Yes. Please email some pictures to cynthia@shockwavetechnologies.com she will help you with getting a replacement.
Thanks
I am having problems with the retainer on this model. It has worn and know slips with recoil.
Please email some pictures to cynthia@shockwavetechnologies.com she will help you with getting a replacement.
When fully collapsed, is the end of the blade flush with the end of the buffer tube or does it extend past the tube? Thanks
Flush
Can the latch be removed so I can Cerekotec my blade 2.0?
Yes. Just remove the pin and the lever will slide out the bottom.
Hi, I removed the pin, spring, and lever to paint two of my blade 2’s and lost them in the process. Any way I can order replacements?
Hi Mike,
I think Cynthia already took care of this for you. Let us know if you need anything else.
Thanks,
Team Shockwave
will this fit the S&W MP15 22lr with its fixed buffer tube?
I believe that has a milspec buffer tube but you will want to verify. If yes, this stabilizer will work.
