Shockwave Blade AR Pistol Stabilizer News

We have completed a final almost final design for the Blade AR pistol stabilizer. We feel really good about this latest design. It’s a bit more modern and aggressive than the previous prototype we sent out to beta testers. Also, this latest design is rock-solid when mounted on a standard pistol buffer tube.

As for the Tech Branch opinion letter, we haven’t received it just yet. But expect it by the end of November. If you would like to be put on the list to be notified when we begin shipping production units, simply shoot us an email.

Thank you,
Marty

Hi Harvey,

Just checked. Yes, got you down for two. 🙂 What do you think about the new design?

Thank you,
Marty

Looks great, but is there any chance of added padding in the back? I wouldn’t want to scratch the blade if I lay my pistol against the wall. For a thenaked pistol buffer tubes they sell rubber end caps. I think it’ll be a great idea to have a rubber endplate to protect the stabilizer.

Hi Harvey,

Thank you for the kind words. I have been working on the design daily for a couple of weeks now. I think it’s really come a long ways. Now if we can only get Tech Branch to respond with their opinion letter, we can start production.

Thank you again,
Marty

Since I haven’t heard anything for awhile I guess I didn’t make the cut for the beta test for the stabilizer. That’s not a problem. It looks like the project is moving forward. Please put me on the “to notify” list. I’m looking forward to putting it to work beside the Raptor equipped 12ga.
Thanks
Gary

Put me down for one. Is there a preorder? I am willing to pay now. I have also been spreading the word, everyone I show this proudut to is extreamly excited.

Is there any chance of a clarification letter regarding this as part of a non NFA 26.5″ pistol grip firearm that fires shot shells?

Hello Heath,

Thank you for writing. There’s really no need for an additional opinion letter. Not once Tech Branch opines that the Blade-AR isn’t designed or intended to be fired from the shoulder.

Thank you again,
Marty

Hi Harvey,

Thank you for your interest in the Blade-AR and for writing. We are still waiting for the opinion letter from Tech Branch. We were notified on October 15th that we should have the letter by the end of November.

Thank you again,
Marty

Hello Pat,

Thank you for writing. The Blade-AR slips over the standard pistol buffer tube and is held in place with a large set screw–much like the set screws that hold your garage door spring in place on the winding rod.

Thank you again,
Marty

Hello Jake,

We will be introducing an entire line of pistol stabilizers once we have the Tech Branch opinion letter in hand.

Thank you,
Marty
