This is a solid 6061-T6 aluminum muzzle device that directs escaping gases, muzzle flash, and noise forward—away from the shooter.
The flash can is threaded 1/2″-28 for 5.56 mm or similar firearms with 1/2″-28 muzzle threads. Hard anodized black to military specifications.
Note: This device is not designed to reduce recoil, muzzle rise, or flash signature. This muzzle device does not use a crush washer, and you should torque it directly against the barrel shoulder at the muzzle.

The grip itself adds 5.25″ to the length of the weapon (measured parallel to the bore). Of course, the Raptor Grip also fits 12-gauges and 20-gauges with 18.5″, 20″, and longer barrels.
**Note that there is no predefined hole for a sling swivel stud on the Raptor Grip. This allows you to put your sling swivel wherever you want it on the grip–not just where we think it should go. Be sure to drill a 1/8″ pilot hole.
